Dave brings extensive knowledge and expertise in the areas of space utilization, needs analysis and management. Prior to being a CFP founding partner, Dave retired from The Ohio State University as Assistant Vice President for the Office of Campus Planning and Space Utilization. His office was responsible for the University’s space inventory, capital equipment inventory, space utilization, long-term capital planning, program development for funded capital projects and land use planning. Earlier in his higher education career Dave was Assistant Vice President for Ohio State’s regional campuses where he was responsible for budgeting and long-term planning in their early development. As Dean he was heavily involved with the formation of the University College which enrolled all Ohio State freshman and many sophomores at the time. His responsibilities included development of academic advisement manuals for all colleges and implementation of academic standards for the College. Currently, he leads CFP’s laboratory utilization and needs assessments applying his computational and statistical expertise as well as his creative problem solving skills.
