SIMS 2000: Classroom Utilization Module
The classroom analysis tool links the current class file produced by the Registrar to the rooms in the space inventory. Outputs include: Standard utilization that shows how many hours per week each room is used and what percent of seats are occupied for a variety of user-defined times (e.g. between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. or between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. etc.) Graphs and reports that show the intensity of use throughout the day and throughout the week by building, by department, or for the entire campus A calculation of how many classrooms are needed by location (zone) and by size range for various utilization goals.
