In
addition we have designed and implemented a software system (SIMS 2000)
to provide our clients with accurate data to guide and inform the
decision making process for future campus development.
At
CFP,
our higher education team is representative of the key disciplines
important to a comprehensive, cohesive space planning effort. Our
expertise includes understanding:
-
The business of
higher education; achieving the balance between being attractive,
efficient, and cost-effective as an institution;
-
The academic
mission and vision of the institution as carried out in its diverse
programs housed in its various buildings;
-
The need to
develop space planning guidelines and utilization rates that reflect
the culture of the campus;
-
The concept of
achievability in identifying recommendations that can be
accomplished
within the realities of campus funding, timing, and campus
constituents.
CFP
partners with clients to provide accurate data and management tools for the
effective and efficient use of space. The result is a comprehensive
assessment that identifies the academic, administrative, and support
space needs of the institution and proposes solutions for achieving the
required physical plant. This analysis determines how much of the future
you can afford to provide for today and where to set priorities.
